A great atmosphere builds up with percussion and feeding back guitars that set the stage for this eclectic piece of music. As I listen to the lead vocal, which is done very well, I think to myself „this is Pink Floyd meets World Pop“.
Guitars weep and cry in just the right way to take their place on this stage of sounds that seem to just float about, along with crows adding their two cents into this production.
Two-thirds into the song we start hearing a Middle Eastern sounding stringed instrument accompanied by a matching vocal. Did I mention that I thought I heard a bagpipe? No? I thought I heard a bagpipe.
With all these elements going on the arrangement is solid and holds together very well. The blending of sounds is done with just the right mix.
The production of this track is top notch with what seems like layers and layers of sound. The lyrics are very Pink Floyd and work well with this piece.
A great listen that is very engaging.
Sowas macht durchaus Mut. :-)
